Services & Fees

Progressive Health Services requires full payment at the time services are rendered. All services include an office visit fee. Lab tests are a separate fee added on to the office visit fee.

We accept VISA, MasterCard, & cash.
We do not accept checks

Sliding Scale:
We have a sliding scale of fees (see chart) for some of our services enabling those in financial need to pay a slightly lower fee. As a nonprofit it helps a us when you are able to pay the top of our Sliding Scale.

All lab tests, herbs, nutritional supplements, literature and supplies are an additional fee.

We place an emphasis on health education, self-examination and self-help. We are constantly getting feedback from our clients that our services are well worth the cost because of the quality of care we provide as well as the time we spend with each client.

We do not accept insurance for services other than acupuncture. We can give you a receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement, however, we cannot guarantee that you will be reimbursed. You doing your own insurance billing helps us keep costs down and prices affordable.

Toni Atkins Lesbian Health Fund
Low and no income Lesbians, Bisexual women and Transgender people, who live in San Diego, may qualify for financial assistance for health services through the Tony Atkins Lesbian Health Fund. For more information and applications please call us at 619-260-0810.
